(AUDIO) NECC Prepares to Start Fall Semester

August 6th, 2020 | Dewey Nelson

Northeast Community College in Norfolk will begin its fall semester on Monday, August 17th. NECC President Leah Barrett explains how that will work.

Barrett goes over some of the steps and measures theyve taken to help reduce the risk and spread of COVID-19.

One of the changes at NECC due to Coronavirus this year will be campus dining.

The NJCAA announced a few weeks ago that it was postponing its fall athletics season to the spring. President Barrett says that, while there will be no athletics, they are still planning to hold various activities and events for the students on campus.

NECC will open its Norfolk campus on Monday, August 17th using in person, online and virtual learning for the fall semester.
