A Grass Fire was reported at the entrance of the Scribner Air Base just before 5:30 Monday evening. Scribner Fire Chief Steven Stumpe says the fire was doused quickly.

Stumpe says the cause of the fire was a failed lightening arrestor on the high line pole, according to Burt County Public Power.

There are no injuries or property damage to report.
