June 4th, 2020 | Beth Rogers

The Center for Rural Affairs is offering a few COVID-19 preparedness courses online this month and next. Rural Enterprise Assistance Project Womens Business Center Director Jessica Campos says one will be offered in Spanish before English.

Registration deadline for the Spanish version of the course is June 15th.

Campos says the other two workshops start in July.

That course will be offered on July 8th, 15th, and 22nd from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Registration deadline is July 6th for that course and June 29th for the first one.

Registration contact information can be found at cfra.org/events.

Campos explains the purpose of the courses.

Campos says they are bringing education into their communities to prepare business owners for another potential disaster such as a tornado or another flood season.
