The West Point City Council received an update on the Water Treatment Plant and Water Main Projects at Tuesday nights Meeting. City Administrator Tom Goulette.
Goulette says theyre dealing a little bit with cold temperatures with the chlorine, which has the ability to freeze even at 50-60 degrees at night.
Goulette tells KTIC News that the city has to wait for water usage to go down before they can do more flushings.
Goulette says the city is looking to get down to 700,000-750,000 gallons a day so they can put out a flushing schedule.
A Public Hearing for the 1 and 6 year street improvement program was also held at the meeting.
Goulette said.
Also at Tuesday nights meeting, Goulette was re-appointed to the Cuming County Economic Development Board.
