In February, the West Point City Council set new time limits for the discharge and shooting of fireworks in the City of West Point.

The end times were set due to numerous complaints the Police Department received from citizens.
Goulette says there was previously no stop time for fireworks discharge in the City.
Fireworks are also allowed to be sold from now until July 2 between 8:00 am and 11:00 pm, and on July 3 and 4 between 8:00 am and midnight.
