(AUDIO) Big Bang Boom to be held Saturday night at Northeast

The 45th annual Big Bang Boom, Norfolks Fireworks Show, will be held on Saturday at Northeast Community College. President Don Wisnieski says it wasnt feasible to hold it this year at Skyview Lake, where it is usually held.

Wisnieski says the show starts at 10:00 p.m. and the pre-show at 9:45 with the Northeast Parking lot opening up at 7:00 p.m.

Wisnieski says people will be allowed to watch the fireworks outside their vehicles while still practicing Social Distancing.

Wisnieski says Northeast has just over 2,400 parking stalls on their campus.

He adds Big Bang Boom is in need of donations.

Wisnieski says alcohol and the shooting of fireworks is prohibited at Northeast.
