May 15th, 2020 | Dewey Nelson

Cuming County Ag Society President Brian Meiergerd says that, as of right now, there will be a Cuming County Fair this summer. This years fair is scheduled for August 13-16 in West Point.

Meiergerd talks about some of the new events at the grandstand for this summer, like Outlaw pulling and tough trucks..

A concert is once again scheduled for the Saturday during the fair, and Meiergerd announces the musical entertainment for this summer is Confederate Railroad.

Meiergerd says that, despite swirling rumors, the carnival does intend to be at the fair this summer.

One of the main highlights of the Cuming County Fair each summer is the various 4-H exhibits and animal shows. Meiergerd says that, if for some reason they are not able to have the fair, a plan B is being worked on to showcase the 4-H projects.
