The Northeast Nebraska Corn Growers and associated companies will host 250 5th Grade Students from surrounding counties at the Beaumont in Wayne on Thursday, August 29th from 10am to 2pm.
Nine classrooms with over 200 fifth graders will be attending the event that includes hands-on interactive learning about Nebraska’s number one industry, agriculture.
Fifth graders from across Northeast Nebraska will attend the Growing Potential Ag Festival held at the Beaumont Event & Concert Hall in Wayne, NE. Learning stations set up throughout the grounds will engage students on every aspect of agriculture, including careers, livestock, planting and harvest, ethanol, land stewardship, and how corn is used in everyday life. There will be live animals and real machinery for the kids to see up close.
