November 5th, 2020 | Justin Hanshew

Welcome back to “Weighing In From Around KTIC Country”.   Over the next couple of months, well visit weekly from a different farmer somewhere in the KTIC listening area to discuss what sort of challenges the encountered during the growing season, how the harvest is coming along, and what sort of yields they are seeing.  Join us for the harvest journey 2020 and check back every week for another installment.

Thanks for following along with us this year!

Week 8 – Larry Zobel, Bancroft

This weeks harvest reports come from a farmer who was able to wrap up harvest before the rains a couple of weeks ago…. Larry says they did catch a few summer rains in northern Cuming County that other parts of the county missed, however, there was some hail that came with those storms.  Yields were adequate, fall field work continues, and things are looking up on the livestock front as well!
