...FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY FOR NORTHWEST FREMONT...

...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR A LEVEE FAILURE REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
900 PM CDT SATURDAY FOR SOUTH CENTRAL DODGE COUNTY...

At 949 AM CDT local law enforcement reported that a levee along the
Platte River has breached on the northwest side of Fremont, and to
clarify, the immediate threat of flash flooding is confined west of
Fremont proper. The affected areas will be between County Roads 17
and 20 and from county road T south towards the Platte River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to higher ground now! This is an extremely dangerous and
life-threatening situation. Do not attempt to travel unless you are
fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order.

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.

Do not drive cars through areas where water covers the road.  The
water depth may be too great to allow your vehicle to pass safely.
Turn around...don`t drown!

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Logan Creek Near Uehling.
* At 11:15 AM Saturday the stage was 19.8 feet...or 1.8 feet above
  flood stage.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  tonight.
* Impact...at 19.0 feet...Considerable lowland flooding occurs
  including County Road F north of Hooper. Upstream at Oakland and
  Lyons, city parks and local golf courses may flood.
