Woodhead excited about change in scenery
As he gets ready for his fifth season in the NFL, former Chadron State star running back Danny Woodhead is getting used to his new surroundings. This off season he signed a two year deal with the San Diego Chargers. Woodhead made a name for himself the last several seasons in New England.
He's excited to see how things develop with the Chargers. The team has a new head coach in Mike McCoy and Woodhead is coming off his best season in the NFL as he rushed for over 300 yards, caught 40 passes and scored 7 touchdowns. He is expected to push starter Ryan Matthews for carries this fall and serve as the team's third down back.
