WNCC Cougar Golf Classic set for June 9th

The Western Nebraska Community College Cougar Golf Classic is set for Saturday June 9 at Monument Shadows Golf Course.

The golf tournament, in its 15h year, will be the same format as years past. The golf classic is a four-person scramble beginning at 8 a.m. on June 9. The entry fee is $75 per person and includes green fees, cart, and lunch.

All proceeds from the golf classic benefits the WNCC athletic scholarship fund.

Last year, 18 teams took part in the golf classic. The Legends won their fourth straight golf classic with a handicapped score of 48. The COED/Women’s division was won by Platte Valley Companies.

Deadline to sign-up for the golf classic is June 7 or the first 36 teams. For more information, contact athletic director Ryan Burgner at 308-635-6798 or

Registration forms may also be downloaded from the webpage. The golf classic flyer is under the “Camp” tab.
