The Storm fell to Cedar Rapids 4-1 on Friday night at home, defeated Des Moines 5-2 on the road on Saturday night, and then fell in a shootout to Sioux City 3-2 yesterday in Sioux City, IA. The Storm are currently 5th in the Western Conference, and are 9 points ahead of Lincoln for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Tri-City is just two points back of 3rd and four points back of 2nd with just 14 games left in the regular season. The Storm trail USHL leading Omaha by 7 points and have 2 games remaining with the Lancers this season. Tri-City is 4-5-0-1 in its last 10 games but has accumulated 9 of a possible 12 points in the USHL standings over its last 6 games.
