ATCHISON, Kan. – The Midland University men’s soccer team played to a 1-1 draw at Benedictine College on Wednesday night in a non-conference match. The Warriors knotted the game late, but a winner could not be decided after 110 minutes of action.

The match remainder scoreless for the remainder of regulation, and a pair of 10-minute overtime periods also went by without a goal.
Cesar Valverde recorded five saves in the tie game.
Midland held a 13-12 edge in shots while putting five on goal.
The Warriors will hit the road on Friday for a pair of games in Whiting, Indiana over the weekend. Midland will face a tough task in No. 13 Union College on Saturday at 3 p.m. before taking on tournament host, Calumet College of St. Joseph, on Sunday morning.
