Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team, after a 4-0 weekend in Colorado, moved up to seventh in the latest AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) Division II Top 25 poll. The Lopers tallied 869 points to be one of 11 Central Region teams in the Top 22. Not surprisingly, nine of the top 11 teams hail from the Central Region, led by top-ranked Concordia-St. Paul. The CU Golden Bears received 1,188 points and 39 of the 48 first place votes this week. Defending national champ Wheeling Jesuit (W.V.) is a close second with 1,153 points and the other nine first place nods.
