Iowa State to Play at South Dakota on Tuesday

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State volleyball team is utilizing their Big 12 bye to return to non-conference action, when the Cyclones head to South Dakota to take on the South Dakota Coyotes on Tuesday. First serve in Vermillion at the Coyote Sports Center will be at 7 p.m.

Tickets to the match can be purchased online now (click here), or prior to the match at the Coyote Sports Center.

Tuesday’s match will be streamed online for free by the South Dakota Athletics Department. The match will be shown live here. Live stats will also be provided by USD, here.

Though ISU are coming off an 0-2 week, the Cyclones will take confidence from taking a set off No. 6 Kansas and coming back from 0-2 down to force a fifth set at No. 4 Texas. The Cyclone offense found success in those matches across the board, while running both a 5-1 and 6-2 offense. The ISU defense had a strong week from Hali HillegasClick here to hear it in her second and third career starts at libero.

The Cyclones will get a strong challenge from the hosting Coyotes, who are 6-0 in Summit League play and are 17-2 overall. USD’s most recent win saw them come from two sets down to defeat visiting Fort Wayne in five sets.
