AMES, Iowa – Iowa State (28-21, 4-11 Big 12) fell 14-0 in the series finale to No. 1 Oklahoma (45-2, 15-0 Big 12) on Sunday at the Cyclone Sports Complex. The Cyclones were held without a hit against Sooner ace Giselle Juarez, who completed her second perfect game of the season.

ISU sophomore Tatum Ksiazek got her third start of the season in Sunday’s contest, and worked out of early trouble to put up a scoreless first inning. However, the Sooners got their offense on track in the second frame, plating five runs , including home runs from Fale Aviu and Caleigh Clifton. The Sooner spurt ended Ksiazek’s outing, with the Bondurant, Iowa native being charged with just one earned run due to an ISU fielding error in the inning.

The Cyclones made two more fielding miscues in the third inning, and OU capitalized to score two additional runs in the frame, extending the lead to 7-0. Grace Green and Nicole Mendes tallied RBI base hits in the fourth, as the Sooner advantage grew to 10-0.

Regan Rogers and Audrie LaValley then each collected OU homers in the fifth and final inning, lifting Oklahoma to the 14-0 run-rule victory.
