High school football schedule for tonight

High school football schedule for tonight

It’s another big Friday night of high school football here in the region. Here’s the schedule for tonight including our three games at KNEB.

Scottsbluff at Sidney…94.1 The Brand and starting at 6:15, kickoff at 7. Scottsbluff is 6-1 and off that 63-6 win over Gering. The Bearcats are ranked 6th in this week’s Omaha World Herald Poll and they’re 5th in Class B power points. Sidney enters at just 2-5 trying to keep their season alive with an upset win at home.

Alliance at Gering…KNEB AM 960 and with coverage starting at 6:15. Also coverage tonight starting at 6:50. It’s homecoming at Gering as they look for their first win of the season. Last week in the loss at Scottsbluff, Head Coach Todd Ekart got some of the best effort and intensity from the team in his two years at the helm. Carrying that over to tonight could go along way in keeping them in the game against an Alliance team that beat Sidney last week 19-6.

Chadron at Mitchell…Coverage on The Beet at will start at 6:15 with kickoff at 7. Mitchell hung with Chase County last week, in fact they led at halftime before falling 37-22. Chadron comes in off a nice win over Gordon-Rushville.
