GACC, Wisner-Pilger, and LHNE split Triangular

GACC, Wisner-Pilger, and LHNE split Triangular

Guardian Angels Central Catholic, Wisner-Pilger, and Lutheran High Northeast all went 1-1 at the Wisner-Pilger Volleyball Triangular on Thursday.

The Gators won the first match over the Eagles 2-1, dropping set one 25-21, before winning sets two and three 25-18.

Jayda Oligmueller had 11 kills for Wisner-Pilger while Beth Skoglund led the Eagles with 8.

In the next match, LHNE beat the Bluejays 2-1, taking set one 25-20, and set three 25-22, while dropping set two 25-21.

Maddie Knobbe led GACC with 18 kills while Makenzie Fuxa had 7 for the Eagles (15-9).

In the final match of the night, the Bluejays swept the Gators 2-0, winning set one 25-18 and set two 25-20.

Knobbe led GACC (10-7) with 8 kills while Oligmueller totaled 8 of her own for Wisner-Pilger (10-8).

Wisner-Pilger hosts the Wisner-Pilger Invite on Saturday while GACC and LHNE are back in action on Tuesday, taking on Pierce on the road and hosting Columbus Lakeview, respectively.
