Briar Cliff Women Ink North Central’s Bussinger

Mike Power, Briar Cliff Women’s Basketball Head Coach, has announced the addition of Jadyn Bussinger to his 2018-19 Charger recruiting class. Bussinger is from Bassett,¬†Nebraska where she attends Rock County High School.

Bussinger is an 11-time letterwinner for the Knights with four in basketball, three in both track and volleyball and one in golf. As a sophomore, Bussinger was named all-conference honorable mention and steadily improved that accolade, being named second team all-conference as a junior and first team all-conference as a senior. The honors were just beginning her junior season as she also grabbed all-state honorable mention, Norfolk Daily News second team and all-state tournament team honors. Bussinger received more honors as a senior as she helped guide the Knights to a state championship and was named all-state first team, all-tournament team and Norfolk Daily News Elite 8. She also played in the NCN Northeast All-Star Game and NVC All-Conference All-Start Game.

Outside of athletics Bussinger is involved in FFA, band, one acts and is a NCYAC Coach. She has also been named to the honor roll, has been academic all-state and was deemed NVC academic team.

Jadyn is the daughter of Bradd and Brandy Bussinger and is looking to major in elementary education at BC.
