Tekamah-Herman Softball Standout Paige Reusch is headed to Midland next season. Reusch, who also runs track for the Tigers, says she chose to play softball in college since it’s more of an interest for her. “Well I use track to get me in shape for softball. I love track, but softball is my passion…like at the end of the day I think about softball like where am I going to go. Softball has a better future for me cause I know more about softball, and it’s just where my heart is.”
Reusch, who was a utility player for Tekamah-Herman, says she hopes to play Center Field for the Warriors.
Reusch says she chose Midland for reasons besides just softball. “Midland had a better campus, like for me it felt like home. When I walked out I was like this is the place I want to be. It felt welcoming, and I wanted to major in Psychology so when I met up with the Psychology Professor she told me all these great things that I could do, and how my future could change with her program. And that drew me because I really love Psychology, and I just want to help people.”
Reusch says she also applied to Wayne State and Morningside.
She is the daughter of Jim and Tricia Alexander.
