Listen to game two here.

Ravenna- As of Tuesday night, the Junior Legion C6 Districts bracket was widdled down to two teams, Dannebrog-Cairo-Boelus (DCB), who had only one loss, and Sutton who was undefeated, and handed DCB said loss.

Revenge went to DCB as they beat Sutton in the early game 8-2 to force a do-or-die second game between these two same squads.

The second game same result as DCB clinched a State play-off berth winning 9-3.

This is the first time in three seasons Sutton hasn’t won a division title.

Game one could be summed up in two words, Elijiah Boerson. He dominated on the mound for DCB in a game that started like a pitching duel, Boerson came out with the “W” after his offense rallied late to go ahead.

Boerson gave up only 3 hits, 2 runs, 1 walk, and struck out 11 Sutton batters in seven innings of work.

He also had a good night at the plate going 2-4 with two singles and two stolen bases, helping his cause.

On the other side Quinton Jones was solid on the hill for Sutton until the fifth inning when he gave up four runs.

He ended with 5 ER, 5 walks, and struck out 6.

Nathan Drudik had a solo homer in the game.

Game two was a different story as DCB took an early lead in the second inning, and never looked back.

They dinged up Sutton starter Eli Skalka for three in the first, and five in the second inning. He was pulled after 1 2/3 innings pitched.

Enter Nathan Drudik who was fantastic in relief. He pitched the remained of the game keeping the hot DCB bats from scoring for four inning before surrendering a run in the top of the 7th. DCB Won 9-3.

Ben Oman was the starter for DCB, and though he had control problems all game, he always seemed to pitch his way out of it and earned the win.

Sutton hurt themselves with a couple errors in the game, and left 12 men on base.
