North Bend-The North Bend Central Football team cruised to a 47-0 home win over Tekamah-Herman Friday night.
Jacob Ray got the scoring started for North Bend Central in the 1st quarter, running one in from 34 yards out at the 9:18 mark to make it a 7-0 game in favor of NBC.
Austin Endorf then hit Joel Hines on a 7-yard TD pass with 9:20 left to go in the 2nd quarter to put North Bend Central up 14-0.
Endorf then hit James Seymour on a 22-yard TD pass with 22 seconds left until halftime to give NBC a 21-0 lead.
Endorf found John Emanuel on a 10-yard TD pass that made it a 28-0 contest in favor of North Bend Central with 9:29 remaining in the 3rd quarter.
Later in the quarter, Ray plunged in from a yard out to give NBC a commanding 34-0 lead with about 3 minutes left to go in the 3rd quarter.
Peter Emanuel then broke loose for 67 yards at the 10:36 mark of the 4th quarter, and North Bend Central went up 41-0.
Endorf hit Peter Emanuel for a 70-yard strike to put the finishing touches on the win for North Bend Central.
Endorf was 22-32 passing for 373 yards and 4 touchdowns for North Bend Central (1-2).
Ray carried the ball 8 times for 72 yards, scoring once while Peter Emanuel ran the ball twice for 72 yards, and scored a TD.
North Bend Central amassed 511 yards of total offense, including 373 rushing while holding Tekamah-Herman (1-2) to just 53 yards of total offense.
North Bend Central is at Madison next Friday while Tekamah-Herman makes the long trek to Doniphan-Trumbull, also next Friday.
