YORK, Neb. – A controversial item that came before the York County Commissioners one month ago, has seen some action.
Commissioners Kurt Bulgrin and Bill Bamesberger.
Each Commissioner stated that constituents in their respective districts expressed feelings, both for and against displaying the national motto.
Board Chairman, Jack Sikes, said it should be a majority rule.
Fifty-one counties in Nebraska, including: Polk, Platte, Pierce, Madison, Nance, and Boone, have voted in favor of the display.
No tax payer dollars will be used for the display.
