A woman believed to have been involved in two disturbances Monday evening in Cozad was arrested after the second call. Cozad Police officers were called to a residence in the 400 block of West 19th Street around 9:00pm on a disturbance involving two victims. Officers cited 33-year-old Holly Olinger of Cozad on charges of Third Degree Assault and Disturbing The Peace and released her from custody.

Officers then responded to a second disturbance call around 10:45pm where the subject was reportedly being loud and belligerent according to a police report. As an officer was handcuffing her, Olinger allegedly pulled away from the officer and struck the officer in the chin and upper chest with both hands. The officer was not injured. Olinger was charged with Resisting Arrest and Disturbing the Peace in that incident. She was arraigned in Dawson County Court on the four charges Tuesday morning and bond was set at 10% of $2,500. Her next hearing was set for September 27, 2016 at 9:30am.
