(Audio) Winter Weather Advisory Continues For West Point Area

The latest forecast from the National Weather Service calls for a winter weather advisory until 6 this evening for West Point and the surrounding area.

 

The forecast calls for snow and blowing snow with up to 2 inches and winds gusting to 50 mph will cause some whiteout conditions.

 

The advisory is for portions of east central and northeast Nebraska and southwest and west central Iowa.

 

Expect slippery road conditions during the morning and afternoon commute.  Tree branches could also fall and reduced visibility is likely.
