The Westmoor Pool in Scottsbluff is on track for a Memorial Day opening. However, due to staffing limitations the entire facility may not be open initially.

City Manager Nathan Johnson told KNEB News they need more lifeguards come in to be able to staff all the various features of the pool. Johnson is hopeful that by Memorial Day they will have enough people hired.

In addition to lifeguards, Johnson says the city has several seasonal laborer positions open in the parks and cemetery departments, as well as environmental services.

Johnson says there are full and part time positions available that you can see under the “employment” tab at scottsbluff.org.
