West Point City Council Meets Thursday Night At 7

The West Point City Council has a meeting set for tomorrow night at 7 p.m.  Here is the agenda:

CITY COUNCIL AGENDA – Thursday, March 15, 2018

7:00 o’clock P.M.

Municipal Building, 444 S. Main St.

All agenda items are for discussion and action will be taken as deemed appropriate. The City Council reserves the right to go into closed session in accordance with Section 84-1410.

  1. CALL TO ORDER

  1. Call meeting to order.

  2. Inform the public that the Open Meetings Act is posted on the north wall of the Council Chambers.

  3. Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.

  4. Roll Call.

  1. BIDS: None.

  1. CURRENT BUSINESS:

  1. Discuss location of the Power Drive Race to be held on April 7, 2018.

  2. Discuss and approve the design & engineering phase of the trails & pathways project – West Point Trails & Pathways Committee.

  3. Review and approve an agreement with Northeast Community College for the lease, operation and maintenance of the Shirley and Jake Weber Education Wing and the Donald E. Nielsen Career and Technical Training Facility.

  4. Discuss the purchase of real estate adjacent to the municipal building.

  1. RESOLUTIONS AND ORDINANCES:

              1. Ordinance: Annexing and dedicating part of the SE¼ SE¼ of Section 22 and SW¼ SW¼ of Section 23, all Township 22 North, Range 6, East of the 6th P.M. in Cuming County, Nebraska (final reading).
