The Nebraska State Patrol responded to more than 100 weather-related incidents Sunday from midnight to 6:30 p.m.
That includes 20 crashes and 70 motorist assists, such as slide offs and stranded vehicles.
One of the accidents involved an injury near Waverly yesterday morning on I-80 when a semi jackknifed on the roadway. A short time later another semi lost control and struck the trailer of the first semi.
There was also a serious crash on Highway 71 between Scottsbluff and I-80. An SUV left the road, rolled through the snow packed median and southbound lanes before resting on its wheels. Four people were taken to the hospital, including three juveniles. The driver was later life flighted to another hospital.
