Two Injured In Tuesday Crash Near North Bend

The names of the two people injured in Tuesday’s accident northwest of North Bend have been released.

 

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Mike Ortmeier,  of North Bend was taken by medical helicopter to an Omaha hospital in critical condition after his pickup collided with a semi hauling grain.

 

The semi was driven by 62-year-old Ferdinand Kirchmann, of West Point, who was taken to a Fremont hospital in stable condition.
