The suspect in a triple homicide in Omaha was arrested in Jackson, Tennessee yesterday afternoon.
John Dalton Jr was wanted for first degree murder after originally being called a person of interest in the deaths of his parents and niece.
Dalton’s arrest followed a coordinated effort between the Nebraska USMS Metro Fugitive Task Force, the Western District USMS of Tennessee and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. The Douglas County Attorney’s Office will coordinate extradition efforts with the County Attorney’s Office in Tennessee.
John and Jean Dalton and Leonna Dalton-Phillip were all found shot to death Tuesday night in a home not far from North High School in Omaha.
