A blast of wintry weather is keeping area first responders busy Friday morning.

Around 8:30 a.m., Scottsbluff Police and Fire crews were dispatched to the intersection of 20th Street and 5th Avenue for a minor injury accident. A maroon SUV and a Team Auto Center van collided, causing the SUV to strike a home on the southeast corner of the intersection. Both vehicles sustained front end damage, but no serious injuries were reported.

Approximately 15 minutes later, Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 26 near County Road 13. Scanner traffic indicated that the driver did not sustain any serious injuries.

With the slick roads, drivers are encouraged to keep speeds down, use their seat belt and allow extra time to get to their destination.
