Siblings to face charges in Thursday a.m. stabbing outside a Torrington bar

A brother and sister have been identified as the suspects in the early Thursday morning stabbing of two people at a Torrington bar.

Torrington Police say Andy Palomo of Cheyenne, and Amy Palomo of Scottsbluff, both 35, are being held in the Scotts Bluff County Detention Center at the request of Goshen County authorities.

Torrington officers , Goshen County Sheriff’s deputies and Torrington EMS were called to the alley behind the Mint Bar on Main Street around 1:15 a.m. Thursday morning regarding an assault involving two stabbing victims.

Upon arrival, officers found a 35 year old woman and 28 year old man, both from Torrington, with stab wounds, which were treated at the scene before the pair were taken to Community Hospital.

Both Andy and Amy Palomo are scheduled to appear in Scotts Bluff County Court Friday on fugitive from justice warrants.
