A Lincoln man is being held on a $400,000 bond in Scotts Bluff County after a large drug bust by the WING Drug Task Force.
45-year-old Andrew Requejo was arrested on Sunday following a controlled purchase made by a CI working for WING. During the buy, Requejo sold four ounces of meth to the CI for $2,300. Once the deal was completed, officers arrested him.
During a subsequent search of his vehicle, authorities found a large amount of cash, an additional pound of methamphetamine, a pound of marijuana, THC hash, scales and baggies. In total, 1 pound 5 ounces of methamphetamine was seized.
Court document say that Requejo was also present during an October controlled buy where an additional two ounces of meth was sold.
Requejo was arrested on charges of:
- Possession of Methamphetamine (140+ grams)- 1B Felony
- Possession of Methamphetamine (28-139 grams)- 1C Felony
- Distribution of a Controlled Substance- 2A Felony
- No Drug Tax Stamp- Class 4 Felony
- Habitual Criminal (Enhancement)
He is scheduled to make his first appearance on the charges on Wednesday afternoon in Scotts Bluff County Court. If convicted on the first charge alone, Requejo would be facing a minimum of 20 years in prison.
