According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Mariah Handley was the rear passenger in a 2008 Chevy Silverado pickup traveling northbound on I-25 approximately 3 miles south of Chugwater.
The vehicle, driven by Miranda Madsen of Rapid City lost traction and went out of control on the ice and snow covered roadway.
The Highway Patrol says the pickup drove off the roadway and overturned 3 times.
