“Planting Seeds Of Hope” At The Nielsen Center

“Planting Seeds Of Hope” At The Nielsen Center
Wearing a cap is KTIC AM/FM Operations Manager J.D. Gibbs , who was one of many volunteers at the Relay for Life Friday night at the Nielsen Center in West Point.

The theme of this year’s Relay for Life for the Cuming County Area is “Planting Seeds of Hope.”   Another nice crowd attended this year’s annual event to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

The survivor meal started at 5pm followed by the opening ceremonies at 6pm.    It also includes a survivors and caregivers walk.

840 KTIC and 107.9 The Bull were among the sponsors of the Relay.
Just after 6, cancer survivors were introduced as they exited a bus, which pulled into the Nielsen Center.
There were numerous auction items on display, and participants walked inside the facility.
