One of three suspects in Morrill grocery burglary in custody

The Morrill Police Department says they have one man in custody and are still looking for two other suspects who broke into the U-Save Mart early the morning of August 5th.

19 year old Kaleb Hansen of Scottsbluff, who is already in the Scotts Bluff County jail on a burglary warrant out of Goshen County in Wyoming, is in custody regarding the Morrill burglary.

Morrill Police Chief Josh Catlin says surveillance video at the store and interviews have helped Police with the case.

Store Manager Terry Lyles released surveillance footage on social media …. which showed two men entering the store around 1:20 a.m. The first suspect went behind the counter and can be seen taking several packs of cigarettes….and the 2nd man went down the liquor aisle grabbing multiple bottles of alcohol before fleeing back to the door. A third man was seen outside of the U-Save Mart at the time of the robbery… and Catlin says the three then fled on foot.
