OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ An Omaha resident who lost a lawsuit over the golf putting green, pool, fire cauldrons and other outdoor amenities he added to his suburban property has refused to abide by a court order to remove some of the elements in his sports wonderland.
The Fire Ridge homeowners association sued Eric Marsh four years ago, claiming his development strayed from approved plans. A judge ruled in favor of Fire Ridge last year and ordered Marsh to remove some items, including tee boxes and flagpoles.
Marsh appealed the case to the Nebraska Supreme Court, but the high court also ruled in favor of Fire Ridge. Marsh is to appear in court in December to explain why he hasn’t complied with the court order.
Marsh tells the Omaha World-Herald he will continue to
fight the case.
