Morrill Police Chief Josh Catlin has submitted his resignation, effective at three o’clock this (Wednesday) afternoon.

Catlin told KNEB News he could not comment specifically about his reasons for leaving the job, other than to say it was for personal reasons and more will be said at a later date. He also indicated there is the possibility of litigation.

Catlin has been with the Police Department for over two and a half years. He worked as a part-time officer beginning in January of 2014 and he was appointed Police Chief in October of 2015.
