A massive police presence last night at Fremont High School after a student reported seeing someone with a firearm. Fremont Police Lt. Shane Wimer told reporters at the scene there was a search of the building.
Two juveniles were taken into custody near the school. One of them had a BB gun pistol. He was taken into custody. The other juvenile was released. There were no shots fired and no one was injured. The State Patrol, Dodge County Sheriff’s office and Saunders County Sheriffs Office helped with the search at the school. The nearby YMCA was also under lock down during the search.
