Pottawattamie County in southwestern Iowa... Harrison County in southwestern Iowa... Shelby County in southwestern Iowa... Burt County in east central Nebraska... Eastern Cuming County in northeastern Nebraska... Washington County in east central Nebraska... Northeastern Dodge County in east central Nebraska... Thurston County in northeastern Nebraska... * Until 245 PM CDT. * At 851 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy rain has fallen and continues to fall over the area. The heavy rain will cause flooding. Rain should end early this afternoon, however flooding will continue until the rain can work through the river systems. Up to three inches of rain have already fallen. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eastern Omaha, Council Bluffs, Blair, Red Oak, Glenwood, Harlan, Onawa, Missouri Valley, Tekamah, Logan, Avoca, Arlington, Malvern, Treynor, Underwood, Fort Calhoun, Scribner, Lyons, Hooper and Carson.
