“Evil” Bug Returns To The Midlands

It’s that time of year again in the Midlands:

Your plan to sit outside on a beautiful autumn day is spoiled by—-the Insidious Flower Bug.

The definition of  “insidious” can also mean “evil.”

For years, residents of Nebraska and other midwestern states have found out these tiny,  black-and-tan insects pack a painful bite.

They’re barely the size of a pinhead and appear around harvest season near vegetation,  and can be found until the first frost.
