After the weekend blizzard, many eastern Nebraska and western Iowa schools will be having late starts or possibly closings Monday morning.

Sunday, county crews and private contractors worked to clear roads and highways in northeast Nebraska.
Some are clogged by wide snowdrifts up to 8 feet high or taller, created by wind gusts of 40 mph during the blizzard.
Cold air has moved into the area after the weekend storm. Early morning low temps Monday around West Point are predicted to bottom out around 7 degrees below zero.
