Bomb threat made to York County Courthouse

Bomb threat made to York County Courthouse

UPDATE: The courthouse will reopen TODAY at 1pm. A bomb dog from the Nebraska State Patrol has since left and cleared the building saying they didn’t find anything suspicious.

YORK – The York County Courthouse has been evacuated due to a bomb threat made early Wednesday morning. The York County Sheriff’s office confirmed the threat and said the courthouse will remain closed until further notice. A bomb dog from Lincoln is en route.

It was also county government day at the courthouse. All of the students were evacuated and are in a safe location. Buses are in route to pick up the students.
