(Audio) Blizzard Warning Updated With More Snow Possible

The blizzard warning for portions of east central and southeast Nebraska and southwest  and west central Iowa  is calling for 3 to 10 inches of snow.  It’s in effect from noon today until 3 a.m. Sunday.




Mixed precipitation with a light glaze of ice will be followed by heavy snow and strong winds gusting to 35 to 50 miles per hour this afternoon  into tonight.




Roads will be very hazardous or impassable this afternoon and evening with blowing snow significantly reducing visibility.  There will also be drifting  of snow.
