Reminder— The City of West Point is planning to flush the low side of the city’s water system beginning at 1 p.m. today (Monday).

The low side is everything from about Niphon Street west, including the north and south industrial tracts and the north and south plazas.
The flushing could still be going on until 7 or 8 p.m.

Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. the city will start flushing the high side, which includes portions of Monitor Street east. This could also continue until 7 or 8 p.m.

Households should refrain from water use during this time to minimize the chance of getting discolored water.  Any discolored water that homes/businesses experience during this time should clear up within several hours.

If there are any questions or if discolored water persists, call the city, 402-372-2466.
