Pastor James McConnell, from Northern Ireland, who has been used mightily by God to reach a nation filled with murder and mayhem, including many of the mainplayers in the terrorist conflict, is coming to the area commencing Saturday, with a  community breakfast at North Park Decatur at 9 a.m., followed by him sharing his personal testimony.

He will be speaking at the same location on Sunday and Monday at 7 p.m.

From Friday the 16th through Sunday the 18th, at 7 p.m. each night he’ll be speaking at tent meetings on Main Street Walthill.

Pastor Paul Malcomson, of Light of the World Gospel Ministries in Walthill says McConnell is his former pastor and built the biggest church in Europe.

‘His message really is that there’s nothing impossible with God,” Pastor Malcomson told KTIC.  “He was a pastor in a very dark country, a lot of terrorism and a lot of murderers. And he saw a lot of the top terrorists turned around and changed. I believe that will be his message. Nothing is impossible with God.”
