(AUDIO) North Bend Central’s Mayfest coming up at the end of the month

North Bend Central is holding an event called Mayfest on Monday, April 30th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Jr/Sr High School Principal Brenda Petersen says there will be games for the kids. “We have games for the kids so they can come and do like a pop shoot, or they can pick a duck. They have a fishing game. We have like a Plunko game. The National Guard will bring out their inflatables that kids can run through.”

Petersen says kids will get prizes such as trinkets, pop, and stuffed animals.

There will also be a dunk tank teachers sit in as well as music from small band and vocal music groups in the music room.

The event will be held outside North Bend’s gym unless there is inclement weather, then it will be moved indoors.

The concession stand will be open.

Petersen says signed wavers are required for the obstacle course. “We do have some forms if they want to do the obstacle course. The National Guard, they have to sign some waivers. We’ll send those home in the book bags with the Elemetary kiddos the week prior so they can have that paperwork filled out.”

Petersen says tickets can be bought at the event. The cost is $1 for two tickets.
