A benefit will be held on Friday in Schuyler for the Family of Albert & Marcia Jedlicka. Family friend Mitch Heavican says there will be steak, music, and auctions. “We’re having a steak feed and auction from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at the Schuyler Fire Station. That’s at 302 E 16th St. From 6-10 you’ll be able to grab a steak and there’s going to be music by Joe Cockson from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The live auction is at 8:00 p.m., and the silent auction is also included. And the entire benefit is free will donation.”

All proceeds will go to the Jedlicka family, who had a house fire, and for medical expenses.

Donations can also be made at Pinnacle Bank in Schuyler.

Heavican says they’re still accepting auction items. “Things can also be dropped off here at Pinnacle Bank at the downtown Schuyler at Pinnacle Bank. Or if you just need to bring something last minute you can contact me at my personal phone number. It’s 402-615-1959.”

Heavican says items to be auctioned off include a grill, hamburger, and wall art.
