Bancroft-Rosalie’s School Musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is taking place this weekend. Director Daniel Bridges. “We’ll be performing at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon at the Bancroft-Rosalie there. And pretty excited. We actually have another performance that we just added on Saturday the 22nd. We have 21 kids that our involved there from 7th grade through 12th grade there at B-R.”
Saturday’s performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
Bridges says a couple of sophomore students are among the cast members. “We got a jock there, his name’s Chip Tolentino. That’s being played by sophomore Micah Henschen. One of our announcers, our lady in charge there, her name is Rona. And that’s played by another one of our sophomores there at Bancroft-Rosalie, Emma Beutler. We’ve got some other participants…Cordarrell Spears, we’ve got Olivia Osborne, Ella Bridges, Kariden Briggs. We’ve also got Lauren Kramer, and Colten Briggs is our announcer for the day.”
Bridges says the cast has been practicing at 6:00 a.m. every day since school started, and over the summer.
Tickets will be sold at the door, and the cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children, according to Bridges.
